Disaster in the East

Friday March 11, 2011, a 8.9-magnitude earthquake split the ocean floor 30 kilometers (81 mi) off the east coast of the Oshika Peninsular,Tohoku. The earthquake triggered tsunami warnings and evacuations from Japan's Pacific coast and at least 20 countries, including the entire Pacific coast of North America and South America. 10 meters (33 ft) waves spat unto Japan and many other countries.

Tens of thousands people are missing, most of which are not expected to be found alive.

The Earthly forces have damaged the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant reactor and it is unknown whether a complete failure in the reactors will result in released radiation, similar to Chernobyl, Ukraine in 1986.
